What is KolayKal and how does it work?

KolayKal is an AI-powered travel guide for Türkiye. Our core product is live chat: you describe where you want to go in everyday language, and the AI suggests places and routes that fit you. Accessibility sits at the center of every suggestion, so you can find spots that genuinely work for everyone.

Can I trust the accessibility info for a place?

We cover accessibility across four need areas: mobility (including wheelchair use), vision, hearing, and cognitive. When we are unsure about a detail, we never invent it; we clearly mark it as not verified. Even so, we suggest confirming things that can change quickly, like a ramp or accessible restroom, with the venue before you visit.

Where does the place data come from and how is it kept accurate?

We compile place cards from community and open-source data, then run them through 22 AI agents plus editor review. We synthesize the data anonymously rather than attributing it to any single source. To avoid made-up information, we leave uncertain fields empty or mark them as not verified.

Is KolayKal free? What are the plans?

Accepted Answer

The Kolay plan is free and includes 3 searches a day (or 1 a day as a guest, without an account). For more searches, saved trips, and route planning we offer yearly paid plans: Yolcu at 1499 TL/year (20 searches a day) and Pilot at 2499 TL/year (unlimited searches). There is no monthly billing; plans are annual.

How does route planning work?

In chat you can link several stops into a single trip route, and the AI weighs the order, distance, and suitability together. Route planning is a paid feature available on the Yolcu plan and above. It is not included in the free Kolay plan.

Question 6

Why are the deeper place details (accessibility matrix, rules, nearby services) locked?

Accepted Answer

Every place card's description, photos, and a basic accessibility summary are open to everyone. The detailed accessibility matrix, rules, vehicle access, and nearby services are reserved for the Yolcu plan and above. This keeps that labor-intensive data sustainable to produce.

Can I suggest or add a place?

Accepted Answer

Yes. With a free account you can add a new place right from chat: pick the location, add photos, and submit. Once your place passes our verification pipeline and editor approval, we send you a notification. To prevent abuse there is a limit of 5 submissions a day.

Which languages do you support?

Accepted Answer

KolayKal is available in Turkish and English. The default language is Turkish, the chat is optimized for Turkish and keeps place names in their original form. If you write in English, you get answers in English.

Question 9

How is my data and location protected?

Accepted Answer

Sharing your location is entirely optional: it is used only when you explicitly allow it, for nearby places, and is not stored permanently on our servers. Because your accessibility needs count as special-category data under data protection law, they are processed only with your separate explicit consent, which you can withdraw anytime. We do not share your data with ad partners.

How do I report an error or share feedback?
